BIOGRAPHY
“We are part of the ‘Perennial Generation’,” Marna declares.
“By that, we mean people who are ever-blooming, relevant, creative, and collaborative, but also aren’t bound by any age, or demographic. Power to the Perennials!” exclaims Sully.
64 Crayons Band is a Richmond, VA based acoustic band known for their wall of vocals, fresh arrangements of classic rock and blue-eyed soul and their laid-back entertaining style. Each of the band members are veterans of various successful regional bands and music projects. They are finishing up their debut album which will feature songs written or co-written by the members of the band and one or two cover songs.
Their music style ranges from rock, to soul, to country and adult-contemporary. The album is being engineered and produced by Jody Boyd at Red Amp Audio. Marna and Sully are assisting with arranging and producing the songs. Last year, after mixing 8 of the songs, Jody and Marna journeyed to London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios to oversee the mastering of the album by Miles Showell, the same individual credited with remastering the Beatles catalog. Now that’s a bucket list item for any musician!
